Drawing and Coloring

Whether you choose paint pens, markers, gel pens, colored pencils, or crayons, each drawing and coloring tool has its own special qualities. Markers are one of our favorite coloring tools because they're so easy to use! Markers apply color smoothly, and if you're an experienced artist, you can color in tiny little details (or fill in bigger areas, for less experienced artists). You can purchase marker sets that include almost every color of the rainbow! We also love that with markers, the vibrancy and richness of the colors can vary so much. 

Colored pencils are probably one of the most used tools for coloring. Many of our colored pencil sets come in lightweight, portable tins. Grab a whimsical pencil sharpener and a set of erasers to match, and you're ready to get coloring! Like markers, colored pencils can be used to fill in both the biggest and smallest of spaces.

Gel pens are fun because they come in so many different styles. You can add gel pens to add effects to your colored creations, or draw or doodle in metallic or glitter colors!

Paint crayons are wonderful for younger children, or even for adding punchy details to an art project.
