Stuffed teddy bears are one of the toys that even adults are likely to keep from their childhood. Teddy bears date back to the late 1800s, but people are most familiar with the story of President Teddy Roosevelt and the injured black bear cub that popularized plush stuffed bears in the United States. Did you know that teddy bears were even distributed as comfort gifts to survivors of the Titanic? And who could forget perhaps the most famous teddy of all - Winnie the Pooh.
