From trucks and putty to bubbles and bath fizzies, these fantastic products are manufactured in the USA.

Most toys that American kids play with are manufactured elsewhere; it's simply an economic truth. And unless you have an inside track with a company or do some serious investigative research, it's hard to know which American-imagined toys are truly made in the USA.

Still, there are some companies that are committed to being sourced and made here in the United States. The best part about this is that, in addition to creating jobs that help support communities and local economies, American-made products are required to keep up with stricter consumer safety regulations than imported toys. At Beyond the Blackboard, we are proud to stock American-made toys that are "born in the U.S.A."

Here are some of our favorite toys made in the U.S.A.!

Green Toys

All Green Toys are sourced and made in the U.S.A. using 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. Manufacturing is based in California with materials from a tight local supply chain, which reduces transportation emissions, provides local jobs, and stimulates the economy. Green Toys are proof that milk jugs (yes, the ones in your refrigerator!) can end up in your playroom.

Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty

Crazy Aaron's works with seven, greater Philadelphia vocational centers to employ exceptional individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. Their headquarters are in Norristown, Pennsylvania, where Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty is proudly made in the U.S.A.

Do-A-Dot Art

Do-A-Dot markers are made right here in the U.S. of A.! As a company, Do-A-Dot is proud of the employment opportunities they create as a small, American manufacturer. Do-A-Dot paint sets are assembled in a special needs work center, with love and care.

DrinkingStraws.Glass is a family-owned business, a husband and wife team dedicated to helping EVERYONE end their relationship with single-use plastic straws. Husband Jeremy is the man behind the torch, and wife Kattie is the one behind the computer and sending glass straw packages in the mail with love and care. They operate solely from their Pacific Northwest acreage, where they even have a herd of goats!

Homegrown Fun

We know that trying to buy American can be frustrating, but some of our favorite toy and gift vendors are still making their toys in the United States!

Here are some other Made in the U.S.A. products we carry in-store! Come visit us at one of our two locations, or give us a call to reserve yours.
